Dr Dannaway is an orthopaedic surgeon in Fairfield consulting at Rehab Solutions. He specialises in upper limb conditions including in the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney with 1st class honours. He completed his orthopaedic training through the NSW training network and achieved fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr Dannaway has practised as a physiotherapist and a doctor in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and sporting events. He has significant experience working in high-performing multidisciplinary teams. This includes elite sporting teams such as the NSW Institute of Sports soccer program and Manly Sea Eagles rugby league teams.

Furthermore, he has collaborated closely with physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting for more than 15 years. He recognises the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and understands that the collective expertise of a team yields the best results.

Dr Dannaway has been awarded a number of dedicated local and international fellowships in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery, including complex trauma. He underwent a rigorous six-month Australian fellowship focusing on shoulder and elbow surgery. In addition, he specialised further in shoulder and elbow surgery during a six-month fellowship at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, UK. 

Furthermore, Jasan has completed a six-month fellowship at Bristol Royal Infirmary, where he focused on elbow, wrist, and hand surgery. This invaluable, hands-on training allowed him to refine his surgical skills, expand his knowledge of complex upper limb conditions, and develop a commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
